Scholarship Foundation

The URG Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2014, in honor of individuals who give their talent, time and very often their own finances to ensure the growth and success of the automotive recycling industry.

The Foundation is dedicated to supporting automotive recyclers in their pursuit of superior service and exceptional products to the repair industry.

Requirements
4 Year College

Employee who has worked at least 1 year or child of employee who has worked at least 1 Year

Enrolled in 12 hours for full-time student

Enrolled in 6 hours for full-time employee

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Must be attending college in the fall of the current year

Can win up to four times

TRADE / TECHNICAL / VOCATIONAL SCHOOL

Employee who has worked at least 1 year or child of employee who has worked at least 1 year

Enrolled in a trade/technical/vocational program

Must be attending school in the fall of the current year

Can win up to two times

Applications will be made available each January for the following fall semester.

Award winners are announced at the URG Annual Training Conference.

Note: owners, their relatives, and those owning over $100,000 of stock in the employing yard are not eligible.
